CGF has awarded Mehera Shaw Textiles Pvt. Ltd. this honor within the textile and fashion industry in recognition of their efforts in the fields of sustainability and ecology.
Mehera Shaw is a sustainable lifestyle brand, producing upmarket, artistic, casual women’s clothing for both the domestic Indian market and international market. They use artisan prints, natural fibers, handloom fabric and organic cottons all with top quality stitching, made at their in-house production studio in Jaipur, India under fair trade standards. Mehera Shaw is also member of the Fair Trade Federation in the US.
Mehera Shaw also works in conjunction with Mehera Shaw Foundation Trust--a registered non-profit whose mission is sustainable artisan development-- to create a line of accessories upcycled from production scrap fabric.
