Shari Keller, designer of the Mehera Shaw line shows off her Fall 2009 collection, "Footpaths: the Silk Road to Highstreet." Models will mingle and chat with the audience during this casual fashion show. White wine and refreshments will be offered.

On display will be photos of Shari’s previous collections, her workshop in Jaipur, and of block printing by village artisans. Informal conversations will focus on design and production: the process of creating a “look,” developing a collection, having it made, and the significance of fair made.

Mehera Shaw is a contemporary artisan line with feminine styling, upholding fair made standards. Shari uses natural fibers in highly wearable, layered silhouettes. She specializes in the handblock prints of the Jaipur region of India. Shari and her husband, Mark Keller, own Mehera Shaw as well as their own manufacturing company in Jaipur, India.--
